A8PS for Windows

Current build: 1.2.1o (999.3.7.98)

Update / install

  1. Close the game.
  2. Press the button, then open the small file it downloads (A8PS.appinstaller).
  3. Windows shows the game with an Update (or Install) button. Press it. If the game is already installed only the changed parts are downloaded, not the whole 3 GB.
  4. Start the game from the Start menu. From now on Windows checks for a new build each time you start it.

Nothing opens, or Windows says the app is not trusted

First time on this PC: the A8PS certificate must be trusted once. Download A8PS-AppPackage-Signing.cer, then in a PowerShell window opened as administrator:

Import-Certificate -FilePath "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\A8PS-AppPackage-Signing.cer" -CertStoreLocation Cert:\LocalMachine\TrustedPeople

If opening the file does nothing (no App Installer on this PC), use a normal PowerShell window:

Last resort: the full package

Windows older than Windows 10 version 1903, or a PC where the steps above are blocked: download Asphalt8_999.3.7.98_x86.appx (3.01 GB) and run

Add-AppxPackage -Path "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\Asphalt8_999.3.7.98_x86.appx"

Do not uninstall the game first: that deletes your settings on this PC.

A8PS for iOS (untested)

Build: 1.2.1o

This build has not been tested on a real iPhone or iPad. We have no working iOS device to test it on right now, so it may not install or start. Try it at your own risk, and tell us in the Discord what happens.
